JIM ALBERTSON is a terrific performer and radio host. We’ve enjoyed Jim’s work for many years now and consider him a solid pro! He has a most enjoyable program. And he is one of the most knowledgable musicians around.

Dear Jim, This evening, Sept. 27th, you played a lovely rendition of “When Autumn Leaves Begin to Fall” by a female singer. Would you kindly e-mail me her name & the name of the album from which the song is taken. An avid listener who thanks you, deborah Martinelli

Thanks for playing “Gift of Story” tonight by me, Lydia Adams davis. Pete Seeger loved Winter’s Almost Done” which he found a comfort when Toshi passed away….as so often..great long lives lived together often end close to each other as did my Aunt and Uncle for whom I wrote the song. All the best,to you Jim…and happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow!!!

OOH, To answer your question, Gene
I am Lydia Adams Davis because it is my full name, given at birth…Actually my mother was also Lydia Davis, and there is a fiction and poetry writer named Lydia Davis so my middle name helps weed out some confusion.. or you could call me “Lolly” but some one in Philly is named Lolly Davis…so, what’s in a name…? There is only one Pete Seeger!!!
    Love to all, Aidyl
